1. (Obligatory first question.) What was your first video gaming experience? Arcade? At home? At a friends? What was it and on what system did you play it?

NES, Super Mario Brothers Three and TMNT ^^ was interesting, I'd play all day.  ALLLLLL day.

2. What consoles and/or systems do you currently have? (They must be playable. The Nintendo in the attic doesn't count.)

at home: XBox, PS1, PS2, Xbox 360, NES, N64, GBA, GB

3. Do you play through games with or without game guides?

I usually play through without untill I get to a final dungeon, or a ridiculous puzzle that I just don't want to spend 5 hours figuring out.  Or, if I know there are special things in the game that can easily be missed (happens alot nowadays)

4. Ok. Graphics. How important ARE they?

mmmm, I think graphics are certainly a plus.  I mean, if the game looks beautiful, detailed and fluid it makes it a much better game to play.  But really, it's all about how fun the game is.  For example DMC4, next gen, great graphics, lots of fun.  Crystalis, NES, old as fuck, still lots of fun.

5. Speaking of movie-like/RPG games... name a book or movie that you'd love to see done as a VG.

The Wheel of Time Series (it came out for CPU, and was short and crappy and really had nothing to do with the story.....so, I'd like to see a way cooler, next gen one done.)

6. STILL speaking of RPG/movie-like-and-or-based games, which one was the biggest disappointment to you?

Just about all of them really.....movie games aren't in it for the quality of the game, they just want to make more of a profit while their movie is popular.  That's all. 

7. And one more time, which VG based on a book or movie was a pleasant surprise when you picked up that controller?

Ok, Alex makes a good point, that he got from someone else << but yea Goldeneye for N64 was fun, especially the multiplayer.

8. Can you think of a time when a puzzle in a game TOTALLY stumped you?

How about all of the Zelda games.

9. What games have you pre-ordered or waited in line to buy?

Halo 3, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, uhhhhh >< that's all I can think of.

10. What's your FAVORITE weapon in any video game ever?

Is that even answerable?  Out of ALL the weapons possible?  Goddamn.  Clouds Ultima Weapon, Alastor, Beowulf, Lucifer from DMC 4, all of Ryu's weapons from Ninja Gaiden 3 >< oh the list goes on.

11. What is your favorite fight game? (If you have one.)

Super Smash Bros, Gundam Battle Assault, DOA, Guilty Gear, Power Stone, and Arcana Heart looks cool, but I haven't palyed it yet.

12. Is there a kind of game you simply will not play?

Well no.  But, I just really don't like serious sports games.  Doesn't matter what sport.

13. Do you now or have you ever played any MMORPGs? If so, which, when, and how long?

Final Fantasy XI for a 3 years, EverQuest for 4 years, WoW for 2 years, there were probably others ._. can't really think of em though.

14. How would you classify yourself- casual gamer, average gamer, or hard-core gamer?

I'm average.  I don't mind getting into serious stuff, but....I'm casual in my seriousness?  Like.  If I lose, it's not a big deal/end of the world, it's just a game.  But I consider myself pretty good at games.  Period.

15. Lots of changes have come to the gaming world since the old days. Are there any trends in today's video games that you particularly like? Any that you particularly hate?

mmmm, trends?  I like.....the complexity of games and how interactive they are (within game as well as without) and I hope VR gaming will become a reality soon.  It IS being reasearched and that will put my dream into reality and make it a possibility and that would be awesome.

16. Do you skip cutscenes?

Not the first time around.

17. Movies or books aside, is there is a games you would love to play, but hasn't been made yet, what would it be like?

A completly customizeable game, with great, awesome graphics.  Have it be an MMO, and have an open ended universe.  Also, allow the game to be controlled by thoughts >> *coughmydreamcough*

18. What scene or event in a video game effected you the most emotionally?

KH 1 end cutscene, KH 2 start and end cutscene.

19. If a game comes out both for console and PC and assuming you had a system compatible to both, which one would you prefer to play it on?

Console

20. What is the CREEPIEST video game ever?

Magna Carta which isn't creepy in the scary way but in the.. every single femal character is incredibly well endowed and I feel dirty and uncomfortable playing this kind of way. They game kinda sucked anyway.  Also, the game box made me feel like a pervert.  (To add to Alex's comment) Although there are other CREEPY games...that one's just ultimately sketchy.

21. A lot of people claim that the old school games are better. Do you REALLY think older games are better, or are people just connecting fond memories with them?

All games are created equal.  It's the creativity that goes into it that counts.  And how fun they are in the end.

22. Have you ever broken a video game controller?

Well not me personally, but all the use my Game Cube controllers got over the years just broke em.

23. Do your parents play video games? What about your SO or spouse?

My dad did, but he's too busy now.  No SO or spouse ><

24. Have you ever played a video game until your fingers or thumbs were sore?

Oh for fuck sure.  I used to play so much my hands would be totally blistered ^__^ especially off of the old NES controllers which were basically stone rectangles.

25. Would you let your children (should you have any) play video games? If so, what kind of games and how many hours would you let them play?

I'd let em play if they wanted ^^ they would play games appropirate for their agge and maturity and I would let them play foooor >> a couple hours every day.

26. What is the longest stretch of time you've ever played a game without stopping? (Potty and stretch breaks not counting.)

Well, food breaks had to count as well, I've played a day straight.  24 of gaming.

27. Have you ever dreamed about or in video games after playing?

Fuck yeah
